Extra-thin (1.2mm) bookmark in black aniline calfskin leather (dyed throughout). It comes in a paper case, ideal for a refined gift.

The full-grain leather, selected from the Haas tannery in Alsace, comes from a double tanning process: the first chrome tanning gives suppleness and a soft feel; the vegetable retanning provides the potential for patina (the leather's ability to become more beautiful as it ages).

The bookmark is handcrafted in France at the Meleniewska workshop. It is double-layered (flower against flower). Its edges are threaded and coated with varnish.
