The hidden meaning of the object

The Meleniewska tote bag takes its name from the "Rynok Privoz," Odessa's historic market, established in 1827. The term comes from the Russian verb "Privozit," meaning to carry or bring. Built in the heart of the bustling Moldavanka district, the Rynok Privoz is synonymous with abundance throughout Russia. It is the Slavic equivalent of the old Les Halles market in Paris.

Her name reaffirms Meleniewska's attachment to the city of Odessa, pearl of the Black Sea, where Anna lived until the age of 25.
