Russian leather keychain.

The Russian leather, a full-grain grained calfskin dyed through, is selected from the J. & F. J. Baker tannery in England. It is the product of a slow vegetable tanning process (six months) using willow, oak and birch bark. Connoisseurs recognize it by its diamond-shaped grain and its peaty, smoky scent. Thanks to vegetable tanning, the tannins in the leather oxidize naturally with time and light: the color deepens and warms, and the piece gains character.

Its streamlined shape gives a good grip while leaving the keys free to move.

The keychain is cut and hand-stitched in France at the Meleniewska workshop.
