This model of the Ambre 25 handbag from the Cuir de Russie edition, Exclusive Meleniewska, was crafted from full-grain aniline calfskin, tanned using an extra-slow vegetable method by J. & FJ Baker in Colyton, then cut, sewn and finished by hand - in the saddler's style - at the Meleniewska Workshop in Pré-Saint-Gervais.

Materials

Russian Leather:
- Full-grain calfskin, slowly vegetable-tanned (6 months) with oak, willow, and birch bark
- dyed throughout (aniline finish)
- diamond-shaped grain
- feeding with smoked birch oil

Finishes

Saddler's Finishes:
- Raw leather, dyed throughout (aniline)
- Threaded, sanded and varnished straight edges
- hand sewing (saddle stitch)
