Russian leather is a grained full-grain leather, dyed through (that is, not coated). It has a smoky scent from the birch tar oil that nourishes it.

The natural cowhide used for the lining is a smooth full-grain leather.

The bracelet is bonded into shape: the piece is given its final form while the lining is glued to the leather. As a result, the bracelet keeps its spiral shape even when open.

The bracelet's cleanly cut raw edges are creased and varnished.
